Energy is everywhere. More Every action and movement requires energy. Without energy, we could not see or hear anything. Energy provides us with food, warmth, transportation, and entertainment. If it were not for energy, we would not grow and could not survive. This unit helps students understand what energy is. Unit materials focus primarily on five important types of energy: light, sound, motion, heat, and electrical. Each energy type is defined and supported with everyday examples.
